Law 1
Under the POSH Act 2013, your home is legally a “workplace” and you are an “employer” from the very first domestic worker you hire: “irrespective of the number, time period or type of such worker employed.” Almost no Indian family knows this. The kit tells you what it means in practice, in plain words.
Law 2
Cameras in the common areas of your own home are broadly fine if you tell her in advance and in writing. A camera in a bathroom, a changing area, or a live-in caregiver's sleeping room can be a criminal offence. The kit draws the line so nobody in your family crosses it by accident.
Reality
